Flowage is excellent for large walleyes and northern pike. Participants will meet at the boat launch on the west side of the lake. Both of them came a long ways out from the flowage. We had very difficult high winds fishing conditions but managed to catch walleye every day. Hopefully I can get to some walleye fishing here pretty soon while they're running. Al Warren will tow the canoes to the remote south end cove and we will paddle back up to the dam. If I have I was only a toddler and don't remember it.
There is a possibility I'll be up that way this summer but not positive though. Wouldn't mind trying Whitefish Bay one of these days and see how much luck I have. You are invited to tour these reservoirs with guides who have been using these beautiful lakes without electricity, private docks or houses for years.
